About The Author

James Trapanese is a loving husband and father of three who loves all things horror. I grew up in a house full of brothers, a single mom, and a Grandma. Despite a basic life, I often wondered if there was more to life than work and family. I felt the need to find a passion that I could be truly driven by.

In my adult years, I finally began sharing the excitement of Halloween with others. My wife, our three children, and I now come together to fully experience the fun of the holiday. Over time, I’ve assembled an extensive collection of Halloween props, which I use to create elaborate displays outside our home. These displays include a variety of animatronics that fill our lawn. It’s truly rewarding to receive heartfelt thanks from the neighborhood for putting up these elaborate displays, as it makes me feel appreciated and fulfilled.

After reaching a point where my imagination overflowed, I felt compelled to share it with the world. It was my wife’s unwavering encouragement that finally persuaded me to pen a book. The creation before you is the result of putting my thoughts onto paper. I am brimming with more ideas and look forward to sharing them through future books.
